I had a few minutes to tinker with different location with the PMEQ. My objective was to get the drone string to not over power the fretted string. I wanted to be able to hear both, so this isn’t necessarily an attempt to match the original tone. Which version do you like best? One, two or three? I’ll provide details later.

I prefer 1 or 2 greatly over 3. Initial thought when listening straight through was that 2 was my fave. Now I am bouncing back and forth between 1 and 2.

By the way, that sounds really good! I could have a good time with that tone.

I like them in the order they were played. 3 was a distant third. 1 had more clarity and 2 was good but had a slight honk to it.

That little Jet Cammy still sounds great. Same as the mod you outlined for everybody or tweeked since then?

1 for me
2 too dark
3 might be the closest to the album scooped

4 That amp sounds frigging amazing! But like Pete Thorn you make everything sound awesome.

Sorry for the delayed response.

First clip is amp is dry and unaffected. I took the signal and ran it into the PMEQ then into the delay and strategy 400 power amp. In the room this sounded the best and was like running two different amps. Two cabs are dry with original tone, two cabs are EQ’d and have both dry and wet signal.

Second clip is no PMEQ on at (loop is turned off) going through the w/d/w rig.

Third clip is the PMEQ in the amps effects loop going through the w/d/w rig. The volume dropped a bit, but I didn’t realize it 🤦‍♂️. This sounded most like the original song.
