While I do think the pickups are important to this guitar... I don't think theyre Bill and Becky.

I have an old Bill and Becky in a drawer, and this thing sounds close enough to keep. Anyway, this aint a CS Nuno that I've been lusting for forever...but it is a fun little axe. It makes me want a real one real bad.

I can’t post a pic but only guitar of 2023 was a surprise…Gibson Melody Maker Explorer.

It came with a single HB but had a 300k pot. I swapped the pot to 500k and thru in an Arcane Phil X P-100.

Totally blew my mind especially for $600 bucks. I think Gibson was almost giving them away when they DC’d them years ago.
