Amps are my go to on punching rhythm guitar, fractal on bass and rhythm accent tracks. Majority of leads are fractal.Very nice. Do record more with your real amps or the fractal?
Thanks for the insight. Nice to know that digital and analog are mixing nice together.Amps are my go to on punching rhythm guitar, fractal on bass and rhythm accent tracks. Majority of leads are fractal.
Wow, nice setup. But what's up with the three singing penises?
Absolutely no problem mixing digital and analog. I’ll post something killer in a couple weeks that we are waiting for copyright onThanks for the insight. Nice to know that digital and analog are mixing nice together.
It’s an inside joke with a friend
Nothing great unfortunately. That's still a cool pile of stuff. Sound bytes? Nobody's sharing sound of their rooms and you've got a smoking guitar!
For all our material, I do the bones at home with my 5150 LBX and SM57, bass, and programmed drums on my ancient Pro Tools LE and Mbox 1. Drums, bass, and rhythm guitars/acoustic (yes with a 57).

Then we go to my buddy’s ACTUAL studio for vocals, mixing, and mastering.

And this is the finished product. Pretty solid for keeping the recording budget in check!
Had a spare bedroom with a big closet. Turned the closet into a space for cabinets/ amps. Recording setup is pretty basic. Mac mini, Apogee Element 88 and Yamaha HS5’s. Running Logic Pro X.

Had a customer come in wanting to sell it. Always liked the Mapex stuff and this being maple thought it would be good to have. I get my drummer’s hand me down heads (he changes them all the time). He is good at tuning so it sounds really good and the room records pretty well too.Dude that Mapex kit is INSANE!
Thank you brother!!! I appreciate the listen. Your SoundCloud clip a page or 2 back was great also. Waiting for the copyright bit you mentioned. Thanks for sharing. Toxic absolutely rocks
Thanks @311splawndude As far as what it reminds YOU of, all good. That’s the point of music, for the listener to derive what they want out of the tunes. But hell, I’ll take a Linkin Park reference any day of the week lol.Good stuff. Well mixed. I like it. Reminds me of Lincoln Park. I hope that is a compliment for you guys. Maybe not something I'd throw in the truck for a road trip but I have to give you (guys) a lot of credit and far better than anything I could do

Mines a big room full of shit that the back section is used for recording
My drummer was not fond of Vdrums at first, but after getting everything dialed in and going with SD3 we realized we couldn't do better for now. Recording is a black hole from which there seems to be no escape... There is actually a bunch of stuff not in the pics. I'm lucky to still be married View attachment 194491
