Did you build that 8x12 cab, or is it the real Marshall? I read Jim Marshall only made 8 (or was it 4?) of these at Pete's request, half went to the Who, the other half went to the Small Faces. Rumor has it, a few of the cabs made it to the US.

Must be fun to move around, at any rate, but must be a blast!

Cameron modded XTC, Friedman kitchen Sink Marshall. No longer have the splawn cab...I hated that cab.

i wish they were pete townsends cabs!,...i stumbled upon an old marshall archive that gave the dimensions,..even the bracing...or lack of is a better way of saying it,...copied it!,...filled it with 8 vintage greenbacks!!...and wa-la!....for all the people who claim greenbacks have no lower end,...well ya should hear the bass response of this monster!!,....i love big cabs,...the old SUNN 6X12 with the v shaped baffle being my all time favorite,,,,,i have been searching for another since the day i sold mine,...the other cab is an old ported musicman 2x15 bass cab,...i replaced the baffle board,..put a quad of scumbacks in it,..it dont look pretty,...but it sounds pretty!....as far as moving it around,...it has some heavy duty wheels on it,...i have only taken it out once,..to a blues jam,...with 2 guys its not hard to move around at all...
