Really?.......Who wants to post after that, you fucking show off

Sounds great Andy.

There was some talk a while back about Diezels being suitable for home use. I shot this real quick..... you could talk over this clip.

alright.....this is my Einstein

Some Clean/Heavy Metal tones:

Ch.1 mode 1
Ch.2
Guitar: Standard American Strat With EMG 85
Sorry for the "not so good" sound....I was using my computer built in mic, hence the muffled sound on the bass notes.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Op8cJ7oQ50

Metal/Hard Rock tones:

Ch.1 mode 3
Ch.2
Guitar: Standard American Strat With EMG 85
Mic: Audio Technica AT2020 Condenser
Recording Interface: Metric Halo ULN-2

I'm not very happy with this one because I dialed out most of the Mids trying new setting, but it didn't work really, so it sounds "weird" heheh but it's a good Diezel tone none the less.

My first clip, demoing all the modes/channels
Mic: Built In Computer Mic
Guitar: John Mayer Strat signature

Hey very good

By the way, how are you happy with your Musicman Petrucci? I am thinking to buy now Petrucci Family Reserve or Joe Satriani Ibanez, I see, you have both of them, any tips, to which to go will be so helpfull ;)

I think that the MM Petrucci guitars are much much better instruments as the Ibanez guitars.
The most important thing is what would you like to hear and feel? The JS is a hard rock guitar, with fat neck, the Petrucci is rock/metal with thin neck.

NICE MAN! now, two things.....

1) why do you have a hair band on the neck of the gtr?

2) PLEASE, since I can see you have great playing abilities, plus AWESOME tone....mind making another video playing RYTHMS? specially in E or Eb..... I think there's not one video up in you tube that shows the VH4 in its entirety (a demo of ALL the channels) can you be the first PLEASE? :D

Cheers mate!
The hairband is to stop the strings ringing out from behind the nut when playing staccato stuff, it's really useful trick. I don't use it to mute string noise.
As far as the whole amp demo goes, I hadn't even thought of doing something like that, but I don't think it'd be too hard. I may well give it a go at some point soon.

whats your tuning in that vid brotha? looks wild, your way high on the neck but it doesnt sound as high as it looks

Yeah man, I mean.....there are very nice Vh4 videos in the 'tube but there's not really ONE HOLY VIDEO that shows the Vh4 doing EVERYTHING it can do.....(nice cleans/blues/crunch/hardrock/metal) and DO EVERYTHING....from lead/shred, to blasting Rythms, to nice warm strumming/blues playing.

Please man....do that for the sanity of YouTube!

I was in D standard in the vid. I normally keep my guitars around E standard though.
