Here is a new video about my new stuff ( white Diezel VH-4 with a white 4x12 cabinet )

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7Zxr9HsKeY

Hi, very nice playing. I like Petrucci guitars too, so I am going to buy one now, please how big difference is between new BFR and older John Petrucci model. I know, there is difference in the kind of wood, but is it really so big difference in sound and guitar quality? Because there is a big difference in prize. Which one dou you prefer of them more?
I am thinkink about Peavey Wolfgang guitar too, the EVH Archtop model, or MM Axis. Any experience with them at all, I saw on your vids on YouTube, You have a lot of experience with MM guitars :) ?
I´d like to buy one of this four guitars now, so any advise would be nice and so helpfull.

Thanks a lot ;)

So, the BFR is totally different guitar as the older Petrucci model. If you don't like the painted neck-as me- you won't like the BFR very well :-( The mahagony is very sensitive wood, that's why if the temperature is changing the guitar neck is also changing. I tried mine in February, at my flat was about 25-30 celsius and at my rehearsal room was 16-22 celsius, and the neck totally changed, moved and the strings had been unuseful, After when I corrected the neck, the guitar was ok, but when I came back at my flat, the neck moved ( back to the original position ) again, so I needed to start the correction again.
About the sound: the BFR has a softer sound, but the clean is much nicer. I think the basswood Petrucci has a heavier distorted sound. The body shape is also different, and the neck size as well.
Anyway I prefer the older modell, but the BFR is an awsome instrument of course.
The Peavey and MM Axis is so uncomfortable for me, so I don't like them...

Oh, thanks a lot.. so if I will decide for Petrucci, I´ll go with old one.. it is cheaper too.
Please, even you don´t use Peavey EVH ARchtop or MM Axis becouse jou don´t like them.. I really want one of them Peavey or MM Axis..because of Floydrose, that I want on one of my guitars. Which of these two guitars, did you like more, or which had a betters sound. Some people told me, taht Axis is much brighter sound and has more low output pickups than Peavey, so for some people Peavey seems to be muddy in sound, but..maybe they thought the cheaper models, not EVH Archtop. Can you please, if you have experience with both of this two guitars, compare them for me and tell me, which you found better?

Thanks a lot

The Peavey Wolfgang's pickups have a bigger output level, so it is louder than the MM Axis. The Floyd Rose on these guitars is unuseful, because the body hasn't space to move the bridge to back, only one-way ( down ), so to be honest I don't understand why did it to these guitars..?? Of course you can set to use a little bit up, but it's not like the other Floyd Rose stuffs. The Petrucci MM has a very cool vintage tremolo which is works like a good Floyd ( up and down as well ), so if you will buy a MM JP, it will be enough for you, I'm sure ;-)

haha....we LOVE making vids uh Sean!??! I mean....it's fun man!

besides, I gotta tell ya....I'm one of those type of person that if I'm buying a piece of gear, I wanna hear it/seeit as much as I can.....and man.....there aren't many Diezel videos in the tube man...... so whenever the inspiration strikes, I set the Macbook, open iMovie and mic up the amp!

hey Sean.... I got an assignment for ya.....

I need you to make a video using the VH4 and a guitar in STANDARD E tuning and dial the VH4 to get a "death Magnetic kind of tone..... (a bit more gain than you usually use)

c'mon...I wanna hear that bad boy!

yeah I will try, but I dont have any guitars I set up to E standard everything is in Open C, D Standard and 1 or two that are E Flat is the highest I go. :)

I am going away for a few days, but my next vid will be showing the tone how my friend sanded down EMG's and used my old Gibson LPC covers to hide the EMG's like hetfileds tech does.. It actually makes it sound much brighter. The cleans are sick!

After but with EMG 60/81 hidden under the old gold LPC worn pup covers. Monty Jay did em for me. He is the man at that stuff.

Ampaddict=Todd=Treetopper.

Always love your video's. You can here the sound comes out of your fingers.

I would rely on your video's when wanting to buy an amp, cause you make every sound so good.
