In addition, standing in support on your end has been a publicly proud satanist / luciferian
It would help if you had a good argument I could get behind. You guys have a really bad habit of citing verses without context and then saying "See! End of story!" It's way too simplistic and black and white. And you also keep dismissing my critiques because I'm a "Satanist," whatever that means. Jesus actually had an intelligible response when Satan quoted him scripture.

Protestantism was acceptable during the time people had no access to historical learning materials. Now it requires willful ignorance to maintain it. That's why their churches are folding up or going woke hoping to attract new members. Sola Fide means I don't need to attend.

Don't take it too badly. I keep dismissing their critiques because they are satanists too.

This thread certainly seems to have gone off-topic while I was away... Anyhow, I wanted to have a more thorough write-up, but it seems that's unlikely to happen in the near future, so better something than nothing (maybe?). @VonBonfire, here is one of the table-top optics experiments I mentioned. The water has more sugar near the bottom than the top, which results in there being a variable index of refraction as you move vertically, and the laser bending. If I read the instructions right, this should be fairly straightforward to do in your kitchen.

So what is the experiment supposed to prove to me? Serious question.

It's difficult to even see the horizon. If it was curved I would want to make sure it wasn't an optical effect of the window glass. Regardless, even those that believe in ball earth acknowledge that you can't see the curve until something like 60,000 feet.

The radius of the Earth is approximately 4K miles. Radius on an LP is 12”. Most anyone that doesnt play would say the LP neck is flat. The smaller the section of the radius you view, the flatter it looks. Looking out of a car window doesn’t distort what you view, and neither does looking out of the window of a plane. It is going to appear to be flatter than it is, until you are at a distance that allows more of the radius to come into view. This kind of shit really shouldn’t need explaining. There is no “IF”.

This experiment demonstrates that you can have light curve down when there is a vertically changing index of refraction. It relates to the Bedford Level Experiment, regarding which I think it was previously stated in this thread that you have to account for this curving effect when constructing the experiment and interpreting the results. What it doesn't show is that the conditions of the Bedford Level Experiment lead to a variable index of refraction above the water, that would have to be shown a different way. It just shows that given the right conditions, you can have light curve.

I was unaware of last nights', but I caught 4/5 plus the moon back in 2022 (it was too light to see the 5th when it came above the mountains), and "cosmic" is about the best word I can use to describe it. Pictures do not do it justice.

Indeed.

Did you catch the 7 planets yesterday Dan ? I didn’t get the chance. Looks like I’ll get another chance though when I’m 70.

I sure did! Saw most with binoculars but went inside the observatory to catch the last couple. Super cool.

Intuitive machines is en route to the moon again too which is always exciting

I was in Barnes. I’m in Barnes now. My brother in
law is in the middle of dying. I would have liked to see it too.
