I got a, basically, CU22. But it’s an artist series from 94. This thing sounds and plays so well.

I changed the bridge to an Aldrich pup though

I’m a LP guy, but do have a ‘97 PRS Custom 22 with original Dragon pickups. I was going to swap out the pickups and change the 5 way selector to a toggle, but decided to keep it stock. Don’t use it often, but has its own thing going on and well worth the money for a change of pace.

I had a PRS 408 a while back and that guitar with those pickups sounds so good in bridge position through a high gain amp. Really tight and articulate pickups.

Actually the bridge pickup is growing on me after raising it quite a bit. I think it's a hot Alnico - not to sure what came with these. Dragon II?

The PRS \m/ metal pickups are great. I have a set in my CU24 and they make it come alive. Expensive though.

I like dragon II pickups, as well as the metal and the distortion

The McCarty is just a way better design imo

Had a rare 97 stop tail with a wide thin neck. I own a bunch of PRS and that 97 custom 22 is still the one that got away

Congrats on a fine looking instrument for a great price Zen.

I just wanted to better showcase your guitar,
