Asking $3599
How's it stack up to the MC II?Asking $3599
Dunno, didn’t plug in, just saw it and thought someone here might want to knowHow's it stack up to the MC II?
I bet someone orders it and finds out the hard way that they just threw a $3500 amp in a big box with no packing material.
If it's in the Nashville GC Platinum room, it will probably be done right. That place basically operates like its own separate store that just happens to be inside a GC. It is genuinely the best place in all of Nashville to go for high gain amps and the guy who runs it knows what he's doing.
I'm pretty sure @SBlue used to work at that store? Or something like that? I may be remembering incorrectly, idk
But yeah that store is legit
I actually worked for the Hollywood Vintage, at the GC Hollywood, between 2001 and 2011.I'm pretty sure @SBlue used to work at that store? Or something like that? I may be remembering incorrectly, idk

This would be a sick idea. Go use those Headfirst PCBs and see if you can cram an MCII & MTL into a single amp or something. If it was like 2800 it would be a good mod platform with the wizard transformers
Basically it is, just way overbuilt, beefy everything. They can be cranked and not fall apart like Marshalls do.Isn’t it really just a 1987? Would be hilarious if somebody did a recorded, side-by-side clip and it was no different sounding than a Wang.
And that’s the rub. Old amps having that point where they fall apart makes them more useful to me. Amps that are always together, tight, in control, have a much narrower place and I can get pretty bored with them.Basically it is, just way overbuilt, beefy everything. They can be cranked and not fall apart like Marshalls do.
