Larry is it unreasonable for you to show proof you shipped these guys what they paid for instead of pictures of your girlfriend?

Same goes for the guys making the allegations do you have receipts proving your purchases?

If they are lying and trying to run a grift on you it should be extremely easy to prove you have been on the up and up. I mean after paying you your full asking price for your amplifiers these guys say they paid for tubes and a rear panel for one of your amps.

Are you denying that Disfigured and SBlue did in fact purchase Larry amplifiers from you?

Someone is lying pertaining to these public allegations against you. Why don't you just put it to rest once and for all?

That's right my big one - the more often you go among other people without a mask and without vaccination, the better your immune system will be conditioned.

I've never been seriously ill in my entire life and it's been a few years since my last cold 🤷‍♂️

Not sure if you have actually been through a claim of libel/slander in a US court…

The courts don’t care if feelings were hurt or names were called. They care if laws were broken or parties injured due to negligence or deriliction. A person is entitled to act like a cad so long as they are not breaking laws in doing so.

In a libel case the question would get down to did the defendent knowingly/maliciously lie.

You can call him names right back. Threaten counter suits. Whatever you want to do. All it would do is decrease your credibility in the eyes of the court (Just as Larry’s conduct would do to him).

Statements like this though, could harm you in court:

I think that’s the point, it’s deceptive in a way that lowers the perceived risk of getting into business with him, so it’s really unfair to prospective customers for him to not be up front about this.

Yes I paid for a full set of tubes which I never received, and no I never received the refund that he promised and claims he sent me. Ie he completely ripped me off. I think the lack of consequences to that has emboldened him. To think I’m the only one or to think he won’t do it again or worse is extremely naive.

There are many red flags to doing business with him, and I think you will see some of that shortly.

But to get to the point, some of us have watched situations turn from bad to worse with the likes of Cameron, Rico Jr (RIP) and others, and some of us have the inside scoop on some of Larry’s dealing and we are seeing a similar pattern in that it’s likely going to lead to the same type of blow up a few years from now when people start having problems with their orders. Painting a more accurate picture of what Larry is like will hopefully enable others to make a more informed decision before putting a deposit down, or may help others rethink their order before giving him more money.
Maybe it will allow others to group together to take action if and when the time comes. Sure, if money is burning a hole in your pocket and you feel the risk is worth it, go ahead, nobody is stopping you. But others should know what they are getting themselves into, IMO I think there’s enough red flags to point to the fact that many people are going to potentially get ripped off, may never see an amp or refund, etc. and it’s their right to have as much info as possible, when the business owner is trying to cover up his lies and indiscretions.

You are dancing on the line of documenting malicious intent.

You could make a counter claim for your legal injuries. Again being called a name is not a legal injury. You would have to prove that Larry harmed you physically or financially due to his actions, negligence, or deriliction. Larry is being more savy in this way. He is being a cad, but he is giving you nothing that you could use against him to support that claim.

If you think there could be a legal case here, I would advise you to stop. As well intentioned as you are, you have done nothing here that would help you in court but you have done things that might hurt you.

Yes I have every email including confirmation that he received the payment, copy of wire transfer, etc.

He already stated on this forum that he wired the money back to me, my bank says he did not, I asked him to send me proof that he wired it back to rule out the possibility there was an error, so far he has refused.
