I did pick up a 1 gal cell to fit in the engine compartment, probably going to have to move the battery to the trunk though. I never wanted to do that…still have all my factory stuff like horn wipers heater full interior etc. People laugh when at the track and open the door and the key buzzer goes off.
I just bracket race mostly. No prep heads up racing is big around here…5.50’s might get past first round….fun to watch.

I don't know who started it but it was the one where we all found out the amp was being built by Metro and was just a JCM800 clone with a Jose mod being sold for $3600. And all the Fortin army boys were playing defense for him.

Ahh, you mean the old "ATOMICA" thread, where a bunch of the metroamp guys are in there.. and Fortin too ?

I’d put a 5 gallon cell in the trunk AND move the battery. 468 big block ? TH400 ? 12 bolt ?

I have no idea what it was called or what the original topic was. But maybe? I bought a Meshuggah and wound up returning it because it shit the bed and also realized it was just a Metro 800 clone. And then another customer bought a Meshuggah and saw the shipping label originated at Metro's shop in Michigan and then all hell broke loose. I remember Fortin's goons saying nobody can build an amp like him and he's the god of soldering or something. But then got caught in their own BS when everyone found out Fortin doesn't even build them lol. So which is it... either nobody can build the amp like Fortin orrrrr he outsourced them to Metro to pad his profit margins and it really doesn't matter who builds the thing. Eventually the thread shifted to the Meshuggah being very close to the Friedman/Cameron Atomica.

I have an aftermarket stock style 20 gal tank with an in tank pump. Nice and quiet that way. Wanted to keep it mostly stock appearing.
Used to have a 388 sbc…now It is a carbed sbe 6.0 LS t350 and 12 bolt. May be a 496 next…
