I think thats an awesome picture Steve, seeing that makes me so jealous! You've done what I want to do, play those clubs and just be on stage. I practice every single day just so some day I will experience that feeling!! I'm 41 and I'm not getting any younger but I still have that goal!! Being a Dad has taken a lot of my time and I wouldn't trade it for the world!! I know I'll never make money at music and I could care less, I just want to play on stage!!

Didn't Dave sell his 50 watt for $2800?

I bought it for $2,650. Sold it for the same. That person sold it back to a friend of mine for the same and then he ended up selling it to another forumite for the same (I think the current owner will be keeping it though)......

Cool amp, but not worth what I paid. I knew it was an inflated price when I bought it, but sometimes you gotta pay to play. Supply and demand. Just because it sold for alot less a year or two ago, doesn't really mean much. If CCVs do start to become more readily available, then these things won't be worth much at all.

I don't see them becoming readily available. People do have money to spend on a quality product. Mark can kick out 3 maybe 4 amps a year. Of course, none of us buy them for the collectibility, but for the tone and playability. They will always hold value over anything mass produced though. With the prices his amps are commanding, I am surprised he is still honoring the $2800 price tag. He could easily take these up into the nose-bleed territory of Wizards or Diezels, DB13, Two Rocks or a number of brands. I do respect Mark highly for that. We have dozen Marshall copy amp techs kicking out kit amps with a couple tweaks and slapping $3000-$4000 price tags on them. Everyday, there is a new one pops up with a better Marshall clone at 300% profit, depending on how they value their time. I respect quality at a reasonable price. David Mills is another perfect example, top quality hand made product at a good price and good support. Jim at Scumback, Jerry at FJA are both good examples.

:scared:

Who might that be.

I think Cameron should up his price for new orders. If anyone gets paid for his work, it should be him (and not the guy who buys it only to resell for profit). Let the market dictate the price of what they go for new. I'd gladly pay more if I knew I'd actually get it - but I'm not convinced I wouldn't be throwing my $ into a black hole. Maybe if I could put the money in an escrow or something - that would pay him when the amp is done. But I guess he doesn't need to operate that way since plenty of people are willing to front the cash without out.

Why are you guys trying to raise prices on a product we can't even get?!

Yea but Mark wants his amps to be affordable... thats a big thing for him, he wants EVERYONE to enjoy them... not just the wealthy....

JUST LIKE JURRASIC PARK! haha

He's failing in that mission.

ehhh i hear ya but people need to accept the fact that Mark isn't an amplifier manufacturing plant. He is 1 human being, building custom amps 1 at a time. He takes forever believe me i KNOW he's had an amp of mine for YEARS as of right now, I have a dog in the race so I'm well aware. BUT when you get your product it's killer. He makes the best sounding amps in his category IMHO. None the less, everyone should just simply accept the fact that his stuff will never be mass produced in large numbers and it is what it is.

I agree 100%!

Either of you wanna sell or know someone who would? I realize it would be for a high figure. I'm just to damn impatient to wait :D
