I will be selling my back up Hagen. Has never been gigged and still in its plastic wrap. I can happily put you in touch with James Leader who is the UKs Diezel representative who can asure you that the amp was bought as a back up to my main Hagen.

PM if interested :)

I had a crazy lap of London back in August when I was looking to part-ex my Einstein for an OD100. Drove from outside west London in roadwork-ridden M25 rush hour traffic to Kent to pick up the amp. Finally got there at about 8pm only to plug the Einstein in & find that the power section was completely fucked for no reason.
Couldn't Exchange the amp & decided to give James a call. I then drove from Kent to his house in East London & sat with him trying to get the Einstein working for hours & playing on his early issue Blackmachine & custom guitars. Couldn't get the fucker working & realized it probably needed to go back to Peter in the Fatherland.
Eventually, I cut him a Part-Ex deal with my U/S Einstein, drove with him to his local storage depot & left with another brand spanking new VH4, many hundreds of English pounds lighter in the wallet.
Then had to drive round the north circular & back to the M4 corridor.

https://youtu.be/49JT5vB8mFQ THAT IS THE SOUND... Thank you Peter Stapfer. I don't mean any offense to anyone but why in the world are you guys getting this amp to sound so different then this? That's the low end character I was hoping I could get out of it and it has that mid range specialness I've been liking!!! Next amp for sure!!!! Either Peter is there a special trick to getting this sort of attack out of it because the muffled one seems to be the norm with everyone?

I was going to link this video, but I figured you had already seen it haha.

Did you also watch Josh's videos from Testing 123 Reviews on YouTube? His are cool too, but possibly not quite the sound you want to hear either haha :/

I am wondering if maybe you can ask someone on here, who has a Hagen, if they can record a few quick clips for you with maybe some different EQ settings of your choosing? If I had a Hagen, I would totally do it for you :)

With all due respect as well: you really think that a cam microphone can capture a Diezel low end and depth? :D it sounds great there I agree but if you mic it the low end is not really that you hear there. It's way better! Buy the thing ;)

James is fantastic! I've known of him for a few years but never really got to know each other until I decided to move over to Diezel! Only spoke to him a few days ago to see how he was doing.

Those B1 Blackmachines he has are fuckin AMAZING!!!

James looks after his customers and its the one thing that keeps me apart of the Diezel family! The amps are expensive but its the Customer Service you pay for and I can't fault it in the slightest!!! I love Diezel and I think Diezel will be my home for many years to come!

I meant clarity and attack, there's a definite difference in that video, but I hear ya! :)

Btw I meant nothing bad by it, hopefully it didn't come off that way. You had a great tone in that vid and I actually really liked it, just that was the first vid that I heard that made it get me like it would be something I wanted. Sorry

No I did not get that in such way. No worries. :)

I agree that it sounds great there. Also courtesy of the monster guitar he is playing (Nik Huber - orca) and of the low gain PAF pickups. That amp really shines with lower gain pickups (paf and likes) imho. You will definitely not get that sound playing 20 kΩ resistance humbuckers or actives. Cab is also a very big factor.

One of my friends has an Axe-FX II. We're doing a covers band for New Years Eve. After the first practice he changed his main patches from Splawn to a Diezel Herbert. Does it sound good? Yes, very nice. Does it sound as good as my real Herbert sat next to it? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're joking right?
