To be totally honest I can’t remember…it was probably the one pro rooskie site out of fifty pro Ukrainian sites. I’m so totally disgusted with that proxy conflict I never want to hear the names Putin or Zelenskyy ever again. Never realized Russia was such a threat to Europe and the americas….

The big mistake was Obama letting Putin get away with Crimea, without paying any penalty. Sanctions aren’t going to stop him.
Arming Ukraine hopefully will..or at the very least cost him and his government the ability to follow through with righting the biggest ‘wrong’ of the 20th century, according to Putin himself…the failure of the once mighty USSR.
He won’t stop until he’s forced to stop. The good news is, the once mighty Russian military has shown to be nothing more than a shadow of what they once were…infighting, lack of coordination….they are nothing to fear unlike what they used to be in the 80s. NATO would have a relatively easy time with them. Conventionally speaking.
Nukes? Well, that’s mutually assured destruction on all sides.

Imo yes IF we don’t help Ukraine stop them. If Russia succeeds then they become emboldened to continue ‘assimilating’ other non NATO countries and in 20 years, will have a much larger population to control and conscript into another USSR lookalike, and then Russia may attack NATO. You could make a case like the US did when Hitler first crossed the Rhein; if we had jumped in the fray in Eu earlier, would WWII have been prevented? Possible similar situation today. Putin with his actions justifies the very existence of NATO.

Nuclear is what concerns me the most because of how far ahead they are with the hypersonic missles. Of course MAD keeps them in check…I hope. Russia militarily has shocked me. Apparently they have not progressed tactically since 1945. Finland and Poland could take them in a tag team match probably.

Yes they are very plodding and predictable. Bomb everything and everyone and sort it out later. A patriot battery took out 6 Hypersonics so far; which is a nice surprise. REALLY? Have not heard that. I have always wondered about stealth nukes. Read an article in one of the military manufacturing magazines in the very early 90’s talking about them. Basically no radar signature at all. That was over thirty years ago…
