The opening chords in clip 2 sound H U G E!!!!

Thanks brother!!

Only 2 gain stages to and a low o/p pickup!!!

I'll mess with the mic placement after my fuchs demo is done!!

From the beer drinking dumpster diving crew.......

Dude the amp rips bro!!!!!

Sounds really freakin' good! - maybe even too much gain for the VHII sound... more like a 'rodded Marshall...

What's the "hand feel" like, Ralphie? That sounds way gainier than any straight plexi clone I've heard. I would think you are not fighting it at all on that legato stuff... Ya know the problem with my PM is that the hand feel isn't there. I'm constantly fighting it to get the legato stuff rolling, but the tone is there! Can't wait to get my modded PM back from Curt's tech. (2203 mod + Jose Master! ) Should be an interesting experiment to say the least...

Oh and I'm very disappointed in the note count on these clips. Please try to play faster next time ;) - holy crap dude your playing friggin' SMOKES!!

Would love to hear the "Light Up the Sky" rhythm part through that beast. Ya game?

Post that over at the metro amp forum, Ralph, and I know at least 20 guys rebuilding their amps in a minute ;) :)

Steve!!

That's the strange thing about this amp!! Sounds like it's got a boatload of gain but its definitely a moderate amount but more then any plexi I have EVER tried.
I am fighting it a little bit but not nearly as much as I would have though being that I usuall play 4 gain stage amplifiers :hys:
I would think that you would KILL on this given that you are used to the PM and you cook on that!!!

The hand feel is killer and gets even better as you crank it. This amp was set at the usual Ralphie TV volume!! If I was in the same room with the amp, you would hear me hitting the strings.

Id have to learn the tune but Im game :hys:!!

BTW VHII is in that amp to when I use my h30 cab. It mellows out the gain and high end. Very uncanny what that cab does to the tone!!

WOOOOOOOW!! You modded the PM!! DUDE!!! I need clips and a review as soon as you get it back!!!
YOU ROCK!!

Rock.

Wouldn't change a thing...

Thats what Im thinking! I had all these big ideas of tweaking the amp more and after playing it for a while........ Im like....why? It's the best Plexi style amp I have ever played for the tone I like. I just need to get the power section cooking!!!
