Randall RM22 head...tell me I need one

Bedroom wanker here....Tell me I need the small low wattage Randall rm22 so I can swap all the modules i must buy for it as to have many sound options....or tell me it sucks and it is unreliable so I don't need one....yeah or nay? what's the rigtalk word on this? I think I need a Lynch module or two if I get the RM22
 
You need one. They are great! having all the options to have low wattage amps that are usually 100 watts. Just buy the modules you want and swap two in and out depending on what you want to play that day :thumbsup:
 
I really think I'm going to investigate all the modules etc...gas !
 
Here's a vid I did the day I pulled the new GTO module out of the box. This is the module that caused me to take the MTS plunge myself. And the head I got is the RM22. It's perfect for recording and playing around the house. I can even play this amp when the kids are asleep.

Wow, I never considered the MTS stuff but that GTO sounds bad ass through the little RM22.
 
Who even has one in stock? THey don't seem to be in the usual places for Randall stuff.
 
No one has the GTO in stock. They have been back-ordered for two months but are expected in soon.
 
Damm, that little thing sounds awesome. From what I'm hearing it matches or beats what i hear in other videos from amps that cost over 3k.
 
Those clips sound great through Cheap ipad speakers. I shoyld pick one up sometime!
 
You guys suck. These clips made me order one of these and put a down payment, will be here End July.

Get one. I have a RM20 and its pretty much all I use these days. Its the only amp I can turn up a bit in my place and not annoy the people downstairs, and it sounds fantastic.
 
I really think i'm going to get one soon. I know I want the Judge module, and Mr Scary Module. They sound killer to me.
 
if I went rack and got the RM4 preamp...is there a good 1 space power amp available that would be good to go with it? I'm a bedroom only player....low volumes is a must...i'd have to buy another rack if I go 2 spaces on a power amp due to other stuff i have in mine.
any good 1 space rack power amps?
 
Mesa 20-20 is 1 rack space, EL34 tubes.

I'd go with a Randall RM if I were you though. That way you could use different tube types in either side, and switch them via MIDI.
