When are you guys expecting these to hit the street?

+1 I will be buying one short after they come out

My only dissappointment with them is there no offering maple fretboards..

I'll be going over to the factory in China in June to oversee the first production run and do the final QC check before the guitars are shipped here. While I'm over in Asia, I'll also be hooking up with Guthrie there and we'll have a little clinic tour visiting dealers in Hong Kong, China and Korea. The first Rasmus guitars should start shipping in late-July or early-August after going through our Plek process, QC check and set-up work.

Are you guys going to be looking to pick up Rasmus endorsee's ? *nudge, nudge*

Ed, any chance of a heads-up on the dates for your clinic in Hong Kong. I'm in Singapore and travel to HK frequently. I'd love to get this on my calendar so that I don't miss it.

So this is the big surprise from us for NAMM.

Suhr playability, Suhr sound, Suhr looks... at a much more affordable price point. Can't afford a USA-made Suhr? We decided to come up with a solution. Read all about it here:

http://www.rasmusguitars.com/

Hi Ed,

Last year I was about to order a Suhr guitar with some specifications that got Neil (as far I remember) crazy. I just wanted a 16 inch radius guitar with a Floyd tremolo. He said he could do it but the guitar wouldn't have the best playability because the nut would be a 10 inch radius and the bridge 14 inch (according to him, that's why the 10-14 inch compound radius is so popular). Some tech talk... After a couple emails Neil started to answer me like I was a stupid guy that couldn't get it. My surprise when I read some of the Rasmus specs: 16" fretboard radius, Gotoh Floyd locking bridge...

How come?

Cheers,

Vinicius Rosa.

The Rasums looks good. For a similar move by Soldano, joining up with Jet City, they did not do so. The Jet City amp looks like something out of Toys R Us. I detracts from the product launch. The Rasmus looks good. I am sure it will be a good player and therefore a popular product.

I will def be looking at one. The challenge will be finding one that stays in a store long enough to demo.

One can only hope that one day Rasums releases an OD-20 or PT-20 in the vein of jet city and all the other lunchbox amps.

Not to get off topic but you have seen the jca100hdm since this post haven't you.?
Jet city has really done well in their segment and if the logo is the biggest detractor then that's a small thing.

I'm still interested in the outcome of the Rasmus line

The thing that sets these apart is , our hardware and pickups, our design 100%, our fret wire, they get plek'd by us and inspected very well. We even inspect before they ship to us (Ed is there right now) and they encourage us to kick anything out that is not perfect. We don't have to take any of the product if it isn't 100%. Most companies doing off shore product never see it before it gets to you. Because of our QC and the fact we know we will be under a microscope we are not letting anything through that isn't perfect. We even purchased a second plek to keep up with the demand and are expanding the facility and looking for a new building.

I am excited for these. Love my US Suhrs, and I have all confidence these will be great instruments.

1037 euro is a lot less than what I heard earlier, so if true it´s definitely a step in the right direction.
