RTM had too much "shrill" going into a Plexi.
The Duncan 78 Model pushes just enough.

Can you just turn down your guitars volume using the RTM?
Sure, but the tone gets lost somehow.

I'm a huge Demartini fan and have had two of his models. I didn't care for that pickup. Not bad, just not what I'd expect based on his tone.
