Audioholic, just get the dual channel modules and... are you ready for this?... only use one channel if you're so concerned with the EQ. <GASP!> Your mind. It is blown. I know. The beauty of this idea is that you can then have another channel at your disposal once you have grown out of this "limiting myself to only one channel is the best idea" phase. You're welcome.

well, this is just my opinion after playing a mod 50, and the persons' who I played also mentioned some of the shortcomings of using the same eq some of the time. I had a 3 channel amp where 2 of the channels were identical, on different drive settings, my eq were not identical. While I see how a dual channel is great, specially making a 2 slot amp into 4 channels, and I would be able to work with it, I am just stating my preference, no wrong in that eh? sheesh. I mean using only a dual module in single mode is obviosly limiting its potential, but if there was a module that I loved different settings on, I would get 2, and eq and setup differently , but hey thats just me, I really only use a few sounds.
Heck, with different cabs, volumes, places, its so hard to just say, this shared eq will work ALL the time for each channell, I just don't, and didn't, see that happening for me. Trying the SL2, in channel 1, with light gain, set up bass to where i wanted it, then kick into channel 2 with lots of drive, my bass just got a tad out of control.
