Ive played a herbie through both vintage and front Diezel loaded cabs.Between these two, I cant imagine a sound that is missing!

i see

which cab do you think is better for metal?

For metal without a doubt, the front loaded "black grill cloth" cab; its a glued in back, and after my buddy("user name hard n heavy) and I did a 4x12 cab shootout a while back, Ive found that you can actually feel air being pushed out around the "screwed in back panel " cabs..that translates into some ,not much, but a little tightness loss. But a lot of herbie and vhv users also like the vintage 4x12 cab-its a little more forgiving.

I like your avatar image, mr. Little B
are you a touring pro? Or do you just feel all those 4x12" cabs give you so much blissful boost in SPL that you may live a couple of years longer on this planet? :D

Hey Axeman! thanks for the compliments!....Theyre all used in one way or another;..either session work or touring, if I have the room and help to take it all out!..

Have ya ever had it all on 10....?? Man, that'd be akin to about 2.5 jets taking off I'd guess.
