That's my opinion as well :)

With all the crazy shit I hear about on the news, there is no such thing as being too careful.

Of course as noted above, I have the shotgun bedside for intruders.

It'd have to be a fucked up situation before I pulled that out of the closet and opened her up.
 
You know, I don't really have to worry about penatrating walls in my house. It was built in 1898 and it's SOLID brick. I mean SOLID. The walls are all solid brick with steel rebar going through them. It's nuts. The house is bulletproof.

Only downside, I can't really remodel if I wanted to. The brick frame extends to the inside of the house, with the rooms.
 
Is this fully automatic or has some restrictions? Too bad we can't own these things. Otherwise it would be so easy to get some AK47's over the border. It's only handguns and shotguns for us :(

I think there are fully automatic restrictions in the US, too. I'm not up on my gun law these days, since I just your average shotgun for self-defense and a rifle for hunting.

At least you've got it better than the Brits.
 
actually its state controlled i think?

here in NC you can get a license to carry a loaded weapon in public, concealed. and the cops cant do shit

theres also no law as to how many guns you can own

im not really sure either on fully automatic though.

currently, i own 5 rifles and 2 shotguns. my grandfather builds them as a hobby. i take care of inventory, and last i counted he owned 47 rifles, 3 pistols, 2 shotguns :aww:

Here in TX you can get a license to carry a concealed handgun. I am a fan. It helps make sure that the honest people who would be carrying anyway are at least going to hit what they're aiming at, and not someone innocent. At least, that's part of the idea, since you have to have classes and stuff.

Only reason I don't own a handgun is because I'm afraid I'll get really depressed and/or wasted one night and off myself. At least with a rifle or a shotgun it's a pain in the ass to do so.

Not that I'm depressed, at all, but hell I'm a paranoid dude. You never know.

I use strictly 1911s or .45s for defense the rest of the firearms like rifles and shotguns are for fun at the range or mountains. Lawyers are too damn good these days..trust me I know. They'll find a fucking loop and drill you with the choice of weapon for defense. You'll still be alright but the court bs is a nightmare. No one will even attempt to fuck with you if you use a pistol. It just "seems" like you were just trying to defend yourself as oppose to starting a combat z. BS but it's how things are. Personaly you should be allowed to use grenades, rockets, GUILLOTINE and tanks to defend yourself to set an example but it's not up to me. :lol: :LOL:

I have a beretta 92FS w/ Night Sights, loaded/chambered, safety OFF sitting on my nightstand with 10 rounds. (9+1)
I have another mag with 10 rounds sitting next to it.

I have a Spingfield 1911 nearby, also with nightsights, nearby, with two fully loaded mags (7rd, I don't have the 8rd mags) ready to be inserted.

If someone survives that...I'm already dead.

Semi auto. It's reeeeeally easy to convert over, but I'm not that much of a nut case. The local range is strict about 1 bullet a second, so it can already fire faster than I need.

However in the off chance I need to use it, that 30 round clip would be done in about 10 seconds. :rock:
 
In a way I'm glad firearms are so restricted in Australia. I have enough trouble lusting for, choosing, and buying pickups, pedals, guitars, amps etc. If I had guns to think about as well, I'd probably go insane.

If he or Hillary get elected, expect gun sales in the December/January area to hit an all time high. I'm buying an AR-15 regardless, but if either get elected, I'm buying an AR-15 and an AR-10, and maybe an AK-47 and a shitload of extra mags for all of them. Gotta get 'em before the douchebags start stripping the constitution.

In the US, it's been illegal to own or possess a fully automatic firearm since 1928. You can get a Class III license, and after paying the fees, getting the background checks from the FBI etc, you can buy a fully automatic firearm, but it's fully registered, and you're bound to harsh penalties if it's used in any wrong doing whatsoever, whether it's you that uses it or not. etc.

That's one of the reasons why the laws that the Fucktard democrats try throwing out banning "Assault Weapons" is nothing more than Bullshit, and are proven now to have NO impact on crimes or killings numbers. The AR-15's, AK-47's, Uzi's etc that are sold to the public aren't any more dangerous to the public than any other rifle, they just look different.
