Requests:
- high quality playback
- storage capabilities
- lengthy loops
- multiple overdub capabilities
- DAW integration via USD/SD card
- love the mic capabilities of the Boss RC-3/30, but not totally necessary
- stereo would be a plus, but not necessary
- proven and reliable and able to take a shit-kicking

Thanks!!

Boomerang is probably the best. But doesn't have a mic input. Digitech jamman looper stereo is great too. Has a mic input and a lot of options.

More please!! Thanks RT

I had a Boss RC30 which I'd run in the loop. I barely used any of it's capabilities but ended up getting rid of it cause there was noticeable tone loss\suck when on or off. I'm guessing most people wouldn't notice it especially in a live setting but for me a good portion of my playing is done directly with headphones so it was noticeable.

Ended up getting an EHX 720 but that doesn't have any sd/usb/daw integration but sounds really nice with no tone suck. There is a fancier version with all the bells and whistles you are looking for called the Electro-Harmonix 22500 Dual Stereo Looper Pedal, good luck!

Yep, the EHX720 is on my radar for sure... 12min of record time is dandy. I like EHX products and may look at their higher-end stuff given the failure of competing/alternative products.

JamMan is loaded with good stuff

errrrrl, you mentioned something about the Boss unit - playback degradation. This has been the complaint I've seen across many reviews. Not interested if it's something that's gonna irk me, and this sounds like it's gonna irk me. So thanks for the heads up!!

Don't know if TC makes something that fits all your needs but the Ditto works flawlessly for me in the simple way I use it - record a rhythm and jam over top of it. Playback quality is very good and it's simple. I like it a lot and have no need for anything else.

Ditto is top of the list on practically all reviews for its simplicity and operability.

I'll likely go with the Digitech-JamManXT Solo due to its DAW integration. But ya, the Ditto is definitely "everyone's darling" it would seem

Thanks Folks!

I've got a Ditto which is great, but my main gripe is having only one control button, it's like sending Morse Code operating it. That's sort of OK noodling at home but a big red flag for a stuff up live. I'm looking for a looper I can use live ATM, the 720 looks to be ahead so far. It has 10 presets and two operating switches (one off and one on) so it's easy to operate on the fly. It's big brother the 22500 looks pretty sweet but I think it's probably more than I need.

I went with......
