What do you guys think is the best Tele-Strat hybrid type guitar that I could find used for under $2500? (where the the bridge pu is a tele and the other 2 are strat pu's) I'd love to have the Knaggs but it looks like those are too expensive for me and I'm not interested in the ones Fender makes.

Tyler has one but probably have to find one used to stay in that budget...Anderson as well..

Custom Shop Tele ;) Mine has a 9.5 to 12 compound radius neck, stacked Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge and Duncan QTR pounder in the neck. So she looks like a plain ole Tele but is modern rocker when I want it to be.

A tele with a middle single rout are calked Nashville tele. There is also a modern tele which has a humbucker route in the bridge

I would look for a Schecter USA Custom. I hear their Teles are off the charts good.

If you up your budget a touch, custom order a new one from Luxxtone.

Would something like a Jazzmaster work for you? You can pull off alot of great tones with them. :D

Thanks for all these suggestions but none of them are what I'm looking for. I want it to have a tele bridge pickup with the middle and neck pickups being strat pickups. Basically I love the sound of the Tele in the bridge but don't care for the other pickup position of it and I've never cared for the sound of the Strat bridge pickup but really like the other positions, so I want a guitar with the best of both worlds

For that you should be able to take any Tele and change the pickguard and route out for the pickups.
