I spent some time recently with Tony Rombola of Godsmack. Here are some photos from his studio. Tony recorded solos for my upcoming solo and Magic Elf albums. He has a nice collection of amps, cabs and pedals. Spent a lot of time testing gear and working on sounds.

Tony is a great player with an excellent ear for tone. ...For someone so successful, he is very humble!

Carl, glad to hear you're working with Tony. According to someone that knows him, Tony supposedly has a couple cabs loaded with Scumbacks. Is that correct? Just curious, as this info is about 3 years old now.

that is badass ,the awesome players just hanging tweekin gear, great job on the instructional dvd carl, bought it and love it

Which amps impressed you most? Did you get to play his McNaught? I had the pleasure of playing a MCNaught once. What an incredible guitar!!

Glad that worked out for you Carl, I was wondering if that ever happened.

Nice collection of amps, of course I was really digging the marshalls :) So I am going to take it he played the bones, what did he think?

Congrats again Carl!

Awesome. What are the two amps, behind Tony, sitting opposite of the main amp wall ?

Thank you Carl! Does he check out rig talk? How did he know about Fortin?
