Renegade 50 pricing.....Is this right?

I am DYING to get this amp as well.

For grins I used to make spec sheets for my ideal amp, and the Renegade has come closer (feature wise) than any other amp I've ever seen. Plus, they came up with features I never could have imagined. Tube blend knob on each channel!?!?!? Bruce is the MAN!!!!

I agree, dare I say it, i'm thinking about the Renegade as well. I love my MOD 50, but sometimes I just want the simplicity of two good channels and a pedal or two. I don't know, I'd probably never get rid of the MOD but ...

How is that possible? I thought only 100 watt power amps utilized 4 tubes? They are using 4 power tubes in the Renegade which is more than the Mod 50! What gives?

It has 4 power amp tubes for the tube mix function. You can chose between EL34's and 6L6's, or even blend the two together with the pot on the front panel. Just like the Rebel.

Not quite. I'm sure you're getting the power out of 2 tubes. Say for example, 100% 50watts from the 6L6, or 100% from the EL34's, or 50/50% from both, or 25/75%, etc, etc.

Played it at NAMM extensively. Sounds amazing for the money. Basically a T/D or BMan on channel 1 depending on the tube blend, but more BMan. Channel 2 is EG3/4 or SL2 depending on bright switch.

Definitely sounds like Bruce. Definitely sounds awesome. No amp can touch it at that price.

These will set the amp buying gear hounds into a frenzied stupor. The Renegade 50 will be the top selling amp of the future. There will be a lot of people out there with great tone.
