A friend over in Columbus GA, Zach Stephens builds them. They're essentially hotrodded SLO clones that have been tweaked with KT88 power sections, depth, presence, solo boost, contour shaping control, etc... More gain than a slo as well as a much tighter tone. A lot of guys have described it as a SLO/VHT ultralead love child.

lol that's heresy! I've gigged with the shiva 1X12 combo though and it's nice but needed a boost to hit the type gain we use. But ditching one for an "inferior' chinese product would get you excommunicated from TGP unless you paid more than the amp's cost to have it modded

He just doesn't like Shiva's...is my guess. Seriously though he did get rid of his Shiva because he said the Renegade beat it out every time. He also has a Custom Audio OD-100 and a Landry head.....he has good stuff.

I don't know if I would say that, I didn't expect that out of a Renegade. Nice tone!
