Renegade noise

Plugged in my Renegade a few minutes ago. Tapping on the two inner tubes (one 6L6 and one EL34 both caused static-type noise. Also happend with one of the new preamp tubes. I then noticed if I tap on the top of the cabinet I get the same reaction.....I'm thinking it may be beyond tubes. I'm really puzzled now and don't really want to pay for a complete set of new tubes only to have the same issue. Still haven't received an RA number from Egnater, was supposed to get it Tuesday morning. Think I need to get it to an authorized tech.
 
It still might be tubes but if I were you I'd have someone look at it since this tube stuff can be a bit tricky. I've been tinkering with tubes for awhile so I'm quite comfortable in figuring this stuff out. Send it in under warranty.
 
I seemed to be getting noise from one of the Sovtek 5881's and swapped it out with another tube in my tool box and still got the same issue (who knows if the one I put in is good). I just talked to Nate and got an R.A. number. Theres a repair place thats about a 1 1/2 hour drive from my house. I called and talked to them and will try to get it up there the first of next week. I've just lost my patience with it. And I agree, it's an awsome sounding amp.
 
Drove my Renegade to the repair center this morning and am having withdrawl symptoms already. They service many brands and said it could be as long as a couple of weeks.....will provide feedback ASAP.
 
Ok - New tubes in - all quiet, and new fan today from NATE my hero, all quiet. I'm amazed at how quiet this amp is now!!! Will be rocking in Sept so will give it a workout!! Eganater rules!! :rock:
 
Got a call this morning from the repair center.....it was the 5881 power tubes. I was technically out of warranty on the tubes but Nate approved repacing them. Thanks Egnater and thanks Nate. Can't way to pick it up and keep pushing forward with possibly the best sounding amp I've ever owned (and I've owned tons of them in my 60 years on this planet).
