Had horrible luck with ebay and quit online selling in 2012 altogether. I have had great luck with CL. Not sure why but I've sold pets, livestock, tools, instruments, vehicles, etc through there and ever once had a bad deal. I guess I did meet some loser musicians thorugh CL but that would happen regardless.

I only buy gear from people Steve K recommended to me. That or local in person. If not at their home at a bank parking lot in front of a camera. I don't trust anyone. Including myself.

Bank parking lot is a new one - I’ll use that for sure.

I’ve had good luck on marketplace and craigslist. Ironically lots of interest on RT but I never actually move anything here it seems?

Deleted my reverb account last year. Asking for a social and my photo ID on file combined with their non existent customer service is a no go for me. They’re one data leak away from ruining many lives - just too risky to sell on.

I'm going to meet someone at a supermarket parking lot tomorrow.
Met someone yesterday at the CVS parking lot.

Most sellers on Reverb are half retarded
Goes for a lot of buyers too. The last two sales on Reverb for me have got me about to hang it up.

Same here. It's been pretty hit or miss here for me. It's a shame Reverb is such a PITA, items listed there usually sell within 24 hours and for more than I could get locally (or even here) after fees. I haven't even thought about selling on Ebay since the implementation of online sales tax. I still use both to buy, but selling is becoming too much of a hassle.
