That's about where I figured you were at Lisa; thanks for sharing sis'.
In the grand scheme of all things RT, this is IMHO a nothing burger.

I think you’re in love with him. Or maybe he’s your cousin or something.Seriously 'though, I was responding to this:
... and the posts speak for themselves.
Polite, informative and on-topic, the furthest thing from trolling I can think of.

I know you were joking, obviously.'Cause I quoted verbatim what his post in each thread said and it didn't fit the narrative?
Blame him! He was too-polite and too-informative..![]()
Gratifying to hear you say this sis'.It really is a nothing burger.
Now that's funny bro'.It’s called autistic license

I dont think you are wrongI do agree with some of the others that it is a sort of antagonizing trolling act, though.
But still not a problem.
And I could be wrong.
I've seen it before so don't believe that I am, but could be.
That's just my insight from the experience.
Sure looked that way, but an argument could've been made either way.I do agree with some of the others that it is a sort of antagonizing trolling act, though.
Hey, don’t fact check me when I’m working on my narrative. You’re worse than my wife.'Cause I quoted verbatim what his post in each thread said and it didn't fit the narrative?

I think the one difference here is me. No one gets on my nerves. But he does. Are we sure he is people?
I love @Dino 939
@ChuggNorris is a crazy bastard, but i think he fits in.
I dont know who david gerlach is. Perhaps we should kill him also.
Just take the night, monkey man. Lets not rush to any decisions
Gigablast sounds familiar. Dont remember thiugh. It took me awhile to realize there were actual trolls here. I mean. I fuck with people from time to time, but it isnt my job
Dave? I'm sure you'd remember him:
Giga.Blast, Chupa.Cabra, Top.Echelon, BlackSabbath, KingCrimson
Dude made the most out-there posts I've ever seen on RT.
Sounds like you banned Brian May.He was an absolute classic mate.
Claimed to be a bit of an expert in quantum mechanics, mechanical engineering, org-chemistry, string theory and biology.
He told me via PM that he's a:
"Retired Dr. of Mathematics from UCSD parading as a 80s rock guitarist"
Sure looked that way, but an argument could've been made either way.
Ah the youth mate, the youth.
I’m not sure I can read all this with such narrow gaps between paragraphs, how will I take a rest?(Take this wall of text as my opinion and view, not matter of fact, an attack on anyone, or an absolute, just my experience.)
Don't really care what he does, but personally don't really see it that way. He first asked if he was allowed in the giveaway since he was new, I told him to get other members approval that he was competing with since I am doing it for forum member appreciation. As in those who have helped others, posted clips, laid out fixes, shared deals, not just recently joined, post only in classifieds, or OTC, Have "been here for years, but never posted or voted in the polls until now" etc... He took that as me telling him to kiss ass, which wasn't my intention.
I just want to remain neutral and firm on my rules as to not play favorites or even give the appearance of it. So, if other members were okay with it than welcome aboard. My last contest nobody won, because they went past the deadline. I felt that if I succumb, than I will be expected to in the future, if that makes sense.
He then all of a sudden didn't understand the rules, despite having no issue with them to that moment when he asked. I asked him which part didn't make sense and he never gave a direct answer. Over and over. So, I did my best to clarify them in the OP as well as highlight important points in bold. Pretty sure he understood the rules up until he "didn't". He admitted that he was trolling me more than once. The act is a type of feign trolling or pretending to not understand things to waste people's time while simultaneously repeating false praises as if anyone is going to believe that's his stance. If there was something he didn't understand all he had to do was ask, but it went from not understanding to saying other members don't understand, to nothing makes sense, to it's dumb and I need pointers on running a contest. Maybe I do sometimes, but trying my best and update as I go along or feel that I missed something.
The only doubt I believe that any other members had was after he put it there. Up to that point I'm 99% certain that members who weren't following the rules, weren't reading them and that they would if they did. I'm certainly not asking for, taking part, or care about people piling on towards him, but he does at least seem to play dumb on purpose and troll to annoy people. I feel like it's on him to stop trolling more than other members. Plenty of us have come in here hot and eventually settled in. It's on him, really. In fact he still has about a week before the giveaways signup closes to convince people that he's participating with to join the giveaway. I stand by what I told him and I'm not banning him from it, he's banning himself from it.
It's one thing to joke around and another thing to go 100% troll mode just because someone doesn't like something they don't hear or feel that something isn't fair, etc... Which I believe was misinterpreted to begin with or he understood it and felt it was too much effort. Dunno, but not holding anything personal against him or anyone who is for that matter. Already spent enough time with all of this and hopefully it can just go smoothly from here on. There are a lot of members here I have come to know and many of them are hostile with each other sometimes, and not trying to take sides or let that interfere in my interactions with them. The more people we can get on board as musicians, the better. Especially now that skynet is taking over.
