either. usually my left with the expression pedal to the left side of my SY-1000 or HX-Effects; I use my right foot when the integrated pedal is on the right (e.g., GT-1000). Haven't been using any pedals recently, except for my EQ and channel footswitch.

Always right foot, unless I'm on a super cramped stage, which happens sometimes

So I practice with both feet, especially if it's part of the setlist

As an aside, the fulltone Clyde deluxe is my favorite wah of all time

Whichever one I’m not using to kick ass with at the moment

I’m lefty that plays righty and do a few things ambidextrous. So I didn’t have a preference but I read somewhere that the left brain controls vocalization (and the right side of the body) so I chose right and it’s been that way ever since. I press pedal buttons with my left foot usually.

+1

Just wish they'd move the AC jack location.

RIGHT?

I always end up putting the Clyde off the board because of this, and having to run cables off my board, which is annoying as hell

If they fixed this, the Clyde would literally be the perfect wah pedal

I make an immediate (EDIT) 180 bend and then tape the wire to the underside of the pedal so it exits stage right.

The fact I bring it up and another user immediately mentions the same must mean Fulltone's heard it before.
You'd think they'd change it but Michael Fuller has more than earned the right to be dead set in his ways! :ROFLMAO:

I guarantee you people have mentioned it, and it made him set in his ways NOT to change it lol 😂

when i forget which foot to use i watch Satriani San Francisco dvd and remember which one is

Left. Using my right foot ends up moving the guitar around as my right leg sorta hits it.

Not to get all Eric Johnson ish but I swear the Clyde deluxe sounds and especially feels, even better powered by a battery. The current draw is low so it’ll last a long time. A carbon zinc battery offers the least steady current so it gives the pedal the saggiest and liveliest feel. I even like the bypassed tone best with the battery. For most other types of pedals I prefer a clean regulated DC power supply though.

I guess I'm crazy too, because I've noticed it as well

It's more of a "feel" thing, as you said, but it's noticeable for sure. It's just "greasier" with a battery for some reason.

If it wasn't my main gigging wah (and I wasn't paranoid) I would run it with a battery all the time, but I'm always terrified it's going to die during a solo or something

I’m not a wah guy (or effect guy in general), so don’t know about the Clyde, but my pedals (mostly boosts & fuzzes) also sound better to me with a battery and a carbon one like you said. The other battery type (lithium I think?) sounds too brittle & sterile imo. If anyone thinks this is too nerdy/subtle/Eric Johnson-y then they should just find a new hobby lol or get their ears checked for too much wax buildup

Another Clyde Deluxe user here (replaced my Dimebag wah years ago, which is still a good wah). It feels more natural with my left foot, with the room under the neck and my left arm. But these days I am also mostly playing sitting down. To be honest though, wah is more of a novelty to me these days and I rarely use it when playing. Mostly kick it on to make sure it’s still working…lol…same with my phaser pedal.
Isn’t Fulltone over now? Or over pretty soon. Thought Mike was retiring or getting out of it.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I use my left foot for the wah & all my pedal switching.
