Well in case JBT was messing with us in the OP or the latter FuckTGP posts, I’d like prep by getting into a deep discussion on how power cords impact tone and feel.

I did a side by side comparison of a 3foot and 6foot power cable. I tried black ones, orange ones (rare OG stuff) and white ones. The results were exactly what I thought. Orange power cords are the clear winner, even my wife chimed in at how open and compressed, how fat and thin, and how you could hear every note unless I played more than one at a time the orange cord sound was. They are rare but if you can find an orange power cord, go for it. I found a great deal on one for $1250 shipped!!

My wife likes to make jokes that I have a good enough ear to tune and build amplifiers as a business but I can’t hear her or the TV for shit 😂

Yep. My experience as well.

I thought I was always a white power cord guy but someone said, "once you try black, you'll never go back". I did a side by side comparison with one and then an OG orange and it was night and day. Hey, try this - play a power chord on an orange rockerverb with an orange power cord.

Frickin' heaven man.
