I'm so confused by the chords he uses in the changes around the one minute mark

They literally have NOTHING TO DO with the main riff

ive actually gone back and listened to the change multiple times trying to figure out if the track was over and a new track started

I wouldn't be able to recognize that. Didn't listen to this one but you've pointed it out before. I think it is plenty musical and entertaining. He has great tone too. He has also drastically improved his timing and chops so good on him. He obviously put woodshedding time into it.

Sadly though, he doesn't know how to interact with people. Maybe he is completely normal in person :dunno: Seems crazy to me. I'm sure he'll be back.

I dont understand how people like the taste of marker
That's it, right?! Marker :ROFLMAO: Sharpie or Dry Erase?
I could see those other ones though from when we were kids.

Strange dude. 🤷‍♂️

He did recently note that he just records random shit when it comes to him... And then got pissy when I let him know I wasn't surprised.

I think a lot of us record ideas. Most of us kind of edit them into more before we public share

That 1 minute transition doesn't bother me as much as it does Dan. Don't know what he's going for with that syncopated'ish timing though.

It literally reminds me of a spider exercise, you know the finger dexterity one we all learned in the REH videos?

Not really a fan of beer, tbh. I would probably drink Guinness before IPA if I did :ROFLMAO:
Appreciate the insight, but probably going to have this one with dinner tonight.
One of my favs. 🍷

Guinnes? You like porters and stouts? Founders and Hill Farmstead breweries will be right up your alley.

And I am not even talking about belgian ales, lambics and geuzes haha

Wine always were boring to me, although I can appreciate a great wine, it just doesn’t carry that fun energy. It is like jazz to me, when beer is metal 🤘🏻

I think that's the part where PLX and I knock heads, I always hear a couple things in his tracks that i'm like "THERE!!! THAT!!! That's a cool riff, now expand on the idea and make it a real song instead of just a vomit of guitar" but then it goes into some random unrelated noodling that makes me frustrated when I'm listening to it

He’s more on the unsyncopated side. I got a little seasick listening to that

I wonder where in USA you get to find bad IPAs?
I remember when the trend started. It became so popular, though i was very into ambers and browns from 4-6%

At the time i made an ipa. It was one of the best beers i ever had, though i did almost everything wrong. I poured the sugar too fast when making the wart and it clumped up and was a bitch to stir. I also used tap water, lol.

But i have had tons of IPAs since. The only other one i had that tasted good was last time I was hanging with @RedB4Black

Aside from those two, they are usually heavily fruit flavored and taste like chemicals.

Strange, very strange. They don’t have additives usually.

@RedB4Black what IPA you gave to Smash? 🤔

I was just starting to get into IPAs when I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease :(

This one may not technically be an IPA :dunno: but has anyone tried Boulevard Tank 7? Mmmmm.

Of any IPA. Tastes like someone steeped a bitter root in some old sock water to me. 🤷‍♀️
Like a lot of things humans aren't supposed to like; eg - coffee, whiskey/bourbon, cigarettes/cigars, hot spice, etc, it's an acquired taste. It's my jam but I used to be a brewer.

Now that hazy/juicy stuff you can have...I want the old school west coast bitter af IPA. My default line to the bartender is; "Do you have any IPAs that aren't hazy." Some NE IPAs are good...like Heady Topper.

I visited a buddy in Whyoming like 15 years ago and he had made some chili beer. I was already apprehensive. When he pulled the gallon glass jug out of the the hot trunk of his hot 72 corvette on a hot day and handed me a hot bottle of hot chili beer and I about blew my upper GI track right out of my body.

I go, dude, that is hot both in temp and flavor. Yuck.
He's like, what you don't like it?

I don't remember. I always have something good from all over the country. You mentioned Hill Farmstead...that's one of the best, if not the best brewery in the US. Love their beer. It might have been something from Spindletap in Houston, they probably brew the best hazy IPA in Texas. @Smash embarrassed himself bringing Shiner Bock or some bullshit like that. :ROFLMAO:

Next time, i will bring coors light. They have mountains that tell you when the beer is cold
