2022 Wizard MCII Mk2 - 50 watt, E34L - tolex damage

Background/Disclosure

I wanted to give Wizard one more try after owning several models and never quite bonding with them.
Found and purchased one from davep7 on TGP for $3800 shipped/Paypal on 02-08-2025
Received amp the next week and all appeared 100% (didn't notice tolex damage at that point, but it is what it is),
but still not bonding with Wizard tone after a hour of playtime
Subsequently posted for sale here on RT, TGP, Reverb, and eBay on 02-19-2025
Sold to fellow forum member a few days later who forwarded last 3 pictures seen below when he received it
Refunded money to him and waiting for it to be sent back to me
Rick @ Wizard considered selling me a replacement head cabinet with proof of tolex damage but this appears not be an option anymore since he hasn't responded to any further inquiries
I have sent out several tolex replacement inquiries to businesses and forum members, but no response or interest in re-tolexing the amp
So here we are -

Latest revision with push/pull shift on Treble pot.
Comes with single foot switch from Wizard
Tolex damage to bottom of head cabinet - otherwise no other issues with the amp that I am aware of - it sounds like a great example of a Wizard amp, no issues regarding electronic function or tone.

Please note that I am still waiting for the amplifier to be returned to me which I hope is by early next week 03-10-2025 - I should be able to ship then if anyone is interested.

$3450 shipped/Paypal FF

Thanks for reading!

Well im sorry that happened and I can understand it's a $3,500 piece of equipment but Jesus christ guys, put some glue under it and call it a day. It's on the bottom too

Glws, great deal.

Yeah. I might feel differently if it was on the front or top, but FFS...it's on the bottom...not like it's visible when it's sitting on a cab. Why bother trying to get it retolexed. I'm sure KSR would do it...since they were the ones who built the headshell. $3,450 is a killer deal on a killer amp.

In my experience, an hour with a Wizard isn't enough to gel with it.
They have their own thing going on, that at first can be meh, or even off-putting.
Things start coming together after a few hr long sessions.
There's something about the way they sound and feel, once you get used to it, no other amp quite does. And it's addictive.

All good points with regards to acclimating to Wizard tone.
Not mentioned above in my description - I have had quite a few models since 2020 totaling more than a cursory audition with these amps.
For me, I think it comes down to the tone/feel that Wizard circuits provide in terms of power filtering.
As many have said before - superior construction and components, ultimately just not the tone for me.
