Sammy and his Dead Horse

I think a lot of bullshit could have been filtered out if they'd just changed the damn name.

Sabbath is another one of those bands. Yeah the Dio albums are great, but it's a different fucking band.

I'm one of those rare souls that loves both Van Halen eras. I even like some of the Cherone songs. I'm a fanboi of Ed though. I picked up a guitar because of him and just thought his guitar was an appendage, not an instrument.

Eddie just wanted to create and I don't cars what anyone says, the Sammy stuff was great too. I was 15 years old when 5150 came out and I loved it because the band was still Van Halen but changed their look and started creating hits. I would have loved for DLR to have stayed but his head was the size of New York City by that point.

Sam wrote in his book [about VH of course] that he knew Ed Van Heineken was crazy when he treid to bash out the window of their Lear jet @ 30K feet.
Even tho the world is over van hagar Sam was a member and will never let us forget.
Sammy Hagar band before VH was a much better product.

While I agree in most instances, Van Halen was the name of the guys still in the band so they absolutely had the right to continue with the same name.

It’d be like when Lou Gramm left Foreigner but Mick was still in the band. The foreigner was still in the band 😂

Greta takes in the ying yang ------------------------------------------------------> ...

VH wouldn't be so bad cept with amp/guitar marketing everyday the last 25 years you definetely can get sick of it.
Same with GnR AFD yada.

greta is a hagar fan...she can't do 55 because its bad for the environment

agreed on the marketing front, i'm at the point where i know the people who i like for demos and the rest get immediate "don't show me this content" on YT. i've just gotten off all other socials because its just like having one giant sales showroom in your hands at this point irrespective of hobby.

I'm sure those who are stuffing microphones in the faces over everyone involved know exactly what they're perpetuating

content bro...gotta get the clicks!

I did too! I listened to VH for the VH’s.

The band's namesakes were still in the band, but it wasn't the same band.
