And I would swear for Another Thing Coming there was a backing track of guitar {or two} for that one song. I've seen Priest a bunch of times and man, I've never heard Faulkners sound that heavy. It was only really just that tune too, which was odd. His sound overall was actually really good blasting thru the p.a. but I dunno how those two got such a MASSIVE sound for that track....

Band was good. Glenn came out.. Halfords voice lasted 3/4's of the show before his high notes turned to just blatant screams. Ryche was good but the guitars were cutting yer head off.
Anyone else see them and thought the same thing?? Wasnt just me. Few of my guitar playing buds were there and said the same.

I saw Queensryche with John 5 right before covid hit. Didn’t dig Queensryche guitar tones then. and the one guy had a solo boost he hit every solo that was so much louder than his rhythm, soundguy had to ride his fader all night

Saw Queensryche back in the day when they toured with Dream Theater. It was right after DeGarmo left the band. I love the band but will say I was disappointed with them. Geoff just seemed like he was on cruise control and DeGarmo's backup was just ok. They did perform a cool version of Comfortably Numb with Dream Theater for the encore. Dream Theater killed it (the Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence tour).

Ah man, I was going to go last night at the Prudential center. I went a few years ago on the firepower tour and they were great.

Btw...someone filmed the whole show😎

I have seen Queensryche and Geoff Tate numerous times. Priest a number of times as well(Turbo tour, Ram it down tour) and many more. Love both but Queensryche now are boring. I prefer solo tate.

Rage for order tour was good. Not sure if I saw Priest more times than Nugent. Priest was good up to screaming for vengence after that they were ok

I have seen both bands .
Priest only once the first tour Faulkner did with them.
He was killer !.
I have seen queenstyche so many times.
The best was in their studio in Redmond I can't remember what year ?
It was when empire was being released and they were playing all of operation mid crime live for the first time.
They had Pamela Moore there doing her parts in operation mindcrime as well as stuff from empire as well.
The band has never been the same after Chris DeGarmo left.
He also did Manu of the high background vocals as well plus he was the friendliest of the bunch in my opinion .
He was showing us his Bob Bradshaw switching unit he had.

I love how you both told us about a 2022-current Judas Priest show experience and brought up a valid question, and so many people just spew out their arm-chair quarterback opinion of a show from decades ago.:LOL::LOL:

Was that one of the songs Glenn played on?

I thought Richie Faulkner almost died a few months ago, is he back out on tour so soon?

I caught that tour too, at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, but I was pretty impressed with Queensryche, especially Tate. He was really on point and seemed to be enjoying himself, maybe because that crowd was into it. That was a long time ago now though, yikes.

Correct and yes. He is back on tour. Tore a main artery or something on stage and almost died there.

Originally was going to be the only guitar player too until the fans complained so they brought Sneap back out with them again.

Agreed. I don't like that Todd whats-his-face.

Also, I've seen Priest a bunch of times, but I wouldn't bother seeing them without KK or Tipton.

Imagine seeing AC/DC without Malcolm OR Angus.

I was about see Queensrÿche in Vegas who were opening for The Scorpions.. for some reason skid row took over for Queensrÿche. Fortunately I saw them back in late 80s; they either opened for scorps or Metallica. I can’t remember.
We shall see how the scorps are tonight.

Glenn came out at the end.. breaking the law, Living after Midnight and Metal Gods. Forgot to say that during Victim of Changes right after the slow part Andy Sneap took the solo while they showed Glen playing it on the big screen behind them. Place went nuts. When he did come out Andy basically hid way in the back on Faulkners side. If he wasnt told to do that then props for the respect.
