hello maybe this is not the perfect place to ask, but please answer me the same ;)

which strap lock do you suggest me to use with my edwards les paul?

my giotar strap is easy to slip away from the buttons on this guitar.
buttons are very small.

thanx!

thanx, i'll take a look.
then if possible i need one that won't ruin or enlarge the the original whole-place attack on the body of the guitar.

i have a pair of these schaller but i find them too big, never used them.
i need something less appearing

A very simple solution is to drink more beer  No, serious! Do you know "Flensburger"? http://www.flens.de/ The bottles are closed with a spring lock and there`s a rubber composition on it. This one you can pull over the strap and it will never go loose. See here:

Those rubber rings from beer bottles work great!
I get them from:

I use Dunlap Strap Loks, the mushroom-looking type.
Use a touch of glue on the screw when screwing them in, let them dry over night.
I do not hook the locking mechanism to the strap. Instead, I just put the strap on the guitar and put the locking clip into the strap lock hole to keep the strap from possibly falling off.

This also allows me to change straps far easier and is as secure as can be.
I use this method on all of my LP's, and other guitars. I never have a single problem.
Best of luck.

whici is the best? most used?

I wouldn't get those. I have only heard very bad thing about them and I have heard from several people whose guitar suddenly dropped because the "Straplok" didn't work.

I started using these Planet Waves Strap Lok's. Turn the cam and it is locked closed.

I do apologize, but I have no camera and my home computer is not hooked to the outside world. I use the work computer to communicate here. :aww:
