I really like DiMarzio Cliplocks. I've been using them on all of my guitars for many years now. Very sturdy, look cool, and feel good.

Long time user of Schaller.

+1 Never had any problems with the Schaller security locks. Basically every time I buy a new guitar I order those right away. I even have spare strap buttons at home, just in case

probably i'll go for the black schallers :)

though schaller system can cause metallic noise coming into the pick up amp...

Never had a problem with that

at least.. i read this...

it is caused by the hurting-hummering of the 2 mechanism pieces themselves.

Well, you can hear that if you hold the guitar in your hand and you "shake" the strap with the other hand. But usually I tend to have my guitar hanging on the strap ;) and then there is no sound at all.

where can i get the little velcro to put in between the buttons and body of the guitar?
the Edwards hasn't got any..
neither the shaller kit..

I guess your local guitar store should have those. Don't know where else.

I use these on my Parker http://www.jimdunlop.com/index.php?page ... ccessories. The Parker's too thin to get the long straplock screws in.

I think mine are an older model as they're round, not pick shaped, but you stick them over the end of your studs, then rotate half 180degrees until they "click". Cheap and easy and I can use my favourite strap on any guitar without having to mod any of them.

hello ppl! i just finished to mount the Schaller's both on my Les Paul and ESP.

on the les paul the fit is perfect while on the esp i got something i don't like from the upper button on the body's guitar.

the fit looks not firm-durable as it is not facing 100% the guitar body...is it normal? is it dangerous to stip the wood in few hours of playing this way?

what to do?
