I've been eye-balling this guitar. My only reservations have been made in Indonesia, vs. World Music Korean. It checks all the boxes, and seems like ALOT of guitar for the money! Top shelf Floyd, (though Korean), and the pickups sound pretty neato..

A friend has the 7 string version and really likes it. The first one they ordered they had to return as it was more or less DOA (wonky frets and bad electronics), second one was good though

Yeah, that's been the theme with Indonesian guitars - hit/miss. They haven't really proved anything to me, anyway. All the indonesian guitars I've bought were poor quality. Their Korean made guitars have all been perfect.

Agree on the MIK guitars. I've had several of their Schecter PT's from Korea and they are great guitars...and overall value.

The Indo Schecters are hit or miss. I just picked up one of those GC exclusive CR-6's that I fell in love with at the Tampa GC. I played the same model at the Clearwater GC and it was shit. I went back played the first one again and bought it. Love it very much has the Apocalypse II pickups sounds good, nice thin but solid body and the neck is fast and thin as hell. Only thing I upgraded to was Schaller locking tuners......it's a heck of a guitar for 500 bucks :) So good luck maybe you will get a good one.

I played one in my local shop and it was really nice. Frets looked/played nice. Must have been one of the good Indo days at the factory.

I've played a few, the good ones are fairly Charvelish other than the pickups. I think a good Indo Schecter can be a really good guitar but they may be a little hit and miss.

Tried the surf blue one with 2 passive mics. It was pretty nice actually.

With duncans and maybe medium frets it would suit me better. Also i don't need 24 frets.

Buy a Jap Bacchus and thank me later. I’ve got 5 and they all kill. Gibson killers for 1/2 to 1/3 of the price.

Do you have a specific model that you would recommend? MIJ only.

I've played a few. Guitars are ok. Personally, I hated the nut width. it felt way too narrow at the nut.

I was window shopping yesterday and for some reason the Charvel type super strats are appealing to me when they havent in the past. I noticed a couple Schecter models that I liked but I've kinda got used to SS frets so that is now on my must have list.
