SL for modern rock?

Anyone who saw Tom Morello with a Tele back in the day with Rage Against the Machine will understand. :)
 
I remember playing a friends 68 SL a while back with the bass, treble and mids cranked and it sounded awesome. I tried it with the SL and it sounds really good. Add some presence and instant classic VH tones. I think I've finally seen the light with the SL. It's still a touch warmer than the Plexi but I kinda like that. Put the BB Preamp in front and it's party time!
