Finally I was able to get something done. I wanted to use my video camera and get some of me playing but life has been chaotic. Hopefully this video will give you an idea of how awesome the SL2X is. This one is a quickie, but I think you'll get a good idea of the tone.

Youtube said it was still processing so it may not be ready yet if you click the link right away.

Solid playing man! And sweet holy jesus I sent mine in last week! Jeff ,I hope it comes back soon that clip is better than I hoped for. I can wait to hear this through my rig.

Love the Dimebag riffage and the Gn R stuff. Sounds great and I can't wait to try it. Sounds like you got a winner.

You are my kinda player, dude!

LOVE the 80s riffage, esp. "It's Not Love."

Wow, I expected it to sound a little thinner/brighter. I really like the thickness and agressiveness. Great job and
a very very cool sounding module.

Thanks for posting.

awesome! thanks. great tones. nice playing. kudos to the "informative" riffs.

now i now that the hype is deserved, but also the module isn't for me ...

thanks.

.

That's sounds great. Awesome playing!
What preamp and poweramp tubes are you using?

Don't you have everything already
It seems like it but when I get my RMOD100 back next week it will have 3 empty slots  and I hate swapping out mods.  and be honest, Who doesn't want that tone!?!?!?!!! Oh and I only have ONE of everything. :D

Sounds exactly how I expected the SL2X to sound. Bill, you did an AWESOME job showcasing that module.

What guitar body wood and pickups? Speakers?

Thanks guys!

Preamp tubes were a Tung-Sol in V1 and the stock Sovtek in V2. Power amp tubes were Svetlana 6550's. Guitar has a Basswood body and maple top. Maple neck with Pao Ferro fingerboard.

The complete recording chain info is posted at the end of the video. (Typing on my blackberry is a bitch...haha)

Thanks again.

Damn Bill, that was one of the best videos showcasing a rig on YouTube. And your playing is great. What's cool is you didn't use to much "grease" and bury it in effects. Just a nice subtle reverb. Only thing lacking is I couldn't see you so I could "borrow" some riffs. Not that I could play 'em.........
