That's great you have great sound guys

It seems most of us do not.

Shitty sound guys are the reason I use digital now. Alteast no one can kick over my 0101010101110101010101s haha.

I reduced my rig to this setup about 15 years ago and they STILL couldn't mic it in stereo properly. Sometimes they'd ask to just take the crappy cab sim out the back of the JMP1.... honestly

When the vocalist barks out, "I want to see a circle pit for this one" to the 5 people standing in an otherwise empty room.

YES.
Gotta add to this one... the guy who isn't normally "techy", buys a wireless unit. Then for the next few gigs, they are unable to avoid the "walk out into the crowd" when playing gimic. You can see it in their eyes, staring out over the 40 people crowd eating chicken in a basket... the primal urge to strut down the isle and impress the plebs with the distance of your radio pack.

When singers ask, "Do you guys like that?" to the crowd. When singers want to share what the songs was written about... SHUT UP AND DANCE MONKEY!!! lol.

"Sound man" who's only qualifications are that they can say the words, "PA System."

"Promoters" who make the bands do all of the promotion. I love preselling tickets for a national act....NOT!

Four dual 18 subs under the stage and tiny mains speaker arrays. Great... we'll hear the drummer and bass player and nobody else.
