So I may have my cab situation figured out, Mills question..

The nay-sayers can say what they want, but the oversized recto cab sounds like crap with a Diezel head. If you disagree with that statement, than it's simply because you haven't used anything else yet that would show you the light.

My Mills cab blows away every Mesa cab I've owned, and I've owned a lot of them. I absolutely love my Mesa 2x12 and Road King cabs, but just don't touch the Mills. It's not cold or flubby sounding. Very warm and full with a very tight bass response. I've got Celestion G12-80s (Rola, not the current classic leads) in it currently and it sounds awesome with the Herbert and my Mark III. I'm using it to play 80s goth rock like the Cure and Sister of Mercy right now, so it's definitely not just for metal.

So I posted a thread about a week ago saying how I thought all you guys were full of shit saying that the Diezels just didn't really get along with the V30 Loaded Mesa cabs, I partially thought this because every head I've ever played through it sounded fantastic, long story short... you guys were absolutely correct..  :D

here read your own post....what are guys correct about? that they say diezels and mesas dont work... isnt that what it says?

This thread is giving me major GAS... I am talking with Chris about a 2x12 oversized Mills cab for my potentially soon-to-be-purchased Einstein 100W :D Seems Mills are all around very decent and surprisingly sweet cabs. Might be time to take the plunge.

This started with a 50W Einstein, and has now evolved into a custom white tolex 100W head with a matching oversized 2x12 cabinet... GAS pains, people, serious serious GAS pains!!
