wood screws where ? Im not following what you are saying, where exactly are the wood screws used?? IDC what diezel they will never sound as good as a friedman..
ever take the back off a Friedman?? That cheap wire mesh grill on the back?? Them screws??? Ya, those.

look, this ain't a pissing match - Dave's amps sound fucking great, I'm just saying for the pricetag, howzabout some quality build to go with that tone. I've been pretty jacked on Dave's amps - his earlier mods, and to date my fave, the JJ100 w/JBE MV mod.

Diezel uses CNC/stamped aluminum powder coated grills with bolts/pre-recessed sockets in their assembly - it's just a German thing... They're internals are utterly impeccable and totally next level quality. And their tone - whilst different than most (any??) Friedman - are revered all the same, nonetheless.

Those cheap screws are the same ones that are in the back of my 47-year-old Marshall and still Kickin
