So what amp(s) do you currently own that don’t get as much play time these days compared to when you first bought it. And why.

Sounds like you need one of these...

I bought a Delisle switcher about 6 months back. I have 2 cabs & multiple amps. My amps get more play time now that I don't have to mess around with swapping cables and can easily select between them. Changed my life; so much more convenient.
Yeah man. I'm planning on adding the KHE 4x4 sometime this year. I just got a little 3 unit rack that looks almost like an amp headshell that I put my Powerstation in. So the plan is to add the KHE to this rack have it go to the Fryette then use the loop with the Fryette for my pedalboard. I'm going to add another cab this year as well. So hopefully I can stack 2 heads on each cab plus the small rack and have everything working together.

My H&K GM40,. PRS archon 100, and Mesa DR, Peavey XXX combo all by the wayside. Fallen to my SLO100 dry/ Mesa 50-50 stereo power amp-with Fractal wet…. Hard time to beat for me.. I am sure there is better depending on the sound you want. But right now; this is what I want. I will say the GM40 is a great head but persnickety for sure

My Bogner Uberschall doesn’t get the playing time it used to. I’d sell it if it wasn’t my dream amp for so many years and I think I’d regret it. Getting a DeLisle 8x6 amp switcher a few months ago changed that some, but it still gets played the least.

My Katana, cause it sucks. Actually, for what it is, it's decent, but compared to a real tube amp it's pretty thin sounding.

I have a Jet City Earhart 50 that I've owned for just about 8 years now I think (thanks LP Freak!). It's basically a re-badged Cornford MK50H-II, made in the same Straight Edge factory, same tag strip construction, same circuit (I do suspect the coupling caps are different values though) but minus the secondary effects loop (confirmed by Martin Kidd himself per my convos with him). Only 2 were ever made. Phenomenal sounding amp, but I just don't play it much any more and keep it as a case queen of sorts these days.

Reason I don't play it much anymore is because I've been so engulfed with learning circuits and modding my other amps over the past few years.

How do you like the DeLisle? I've read that if you're careless when switching you run the risk of the amp not seeing a load.
I love it, game changer for me as far as workflow, time and lack of hassle in my home studio. Made in Indiana by a small shop. I’ve never experienced an issue. It feels solid.

I think people have a "type" when it comes to amps and in my experience, looking at other amps beyond that did nothing for me. I'm a Marshall guy so Friedmans work and anything close to that tone but once I go beyond that, doesn't do much for me

That would only be an issue if you selected a cab position that had nothing connected to it. The amp in use would be routed to an empty slot/no load. I think that's something you need to pay attention to for most all switchers. Easiest solution is to put some tape over those unused cab positions with big bold letters "DO NOT USE"

I have the DeLisle 8x8 deluxe. I love it! I haven't had any issues with it at all. But I also have only one speaker cab connected to it so I never touch that knob.

If you ever do decide to sell the Uberschall, hit me up

My Gemini and BE100… honestly I am using my rack gear a lot more than actual amps.
