Who is Dave? Psychodave?

Pardon my ignorance.... Is this made in USA or Japan? (I don't know much about ESP)

Is this a thin or thick profile neck?

Man I have no idea. I'll most likely have to defer to OUTLAW1969 or cnote.

Memorial day price drop & bump!

Another price drop.

This'll make a nice Father's Day gift for yourself! :D

Man can't believe this is still here. If it wasn't for the Floyd I'd be buying it back, and even then still tempted. It sounds amazing - this is a well made, well-designed, and remarkable sounding guitar.

It'd be gone if I could scare up the cash - always wanted one of those, and an early one is even better

I don't recall seeing any other guitars that early ('86) with a surface mounted lock nut...they had thru-neck bolts.
When did the surface mount type become "a thing"?

It was a thing back then - plenty of Jacksons (being the most common in the mid 80s) with surface mounted lock nuts.
