Amp ho
Here’s a killer one. 1996 Bogner Ecstasy 101S with original footswitch. The S is for “Standard” meaning no A/AB switch. Mercury Magnetics transformers. Sounds amazing - better than any XTC I’ve played. Functions flawlessly. Tolex has some signs of wear but the amp overall looks fantastic and is healthy as can be.

Looking to make a move on something else that is incredibly rare, so cash highly preferred. $2850 Shipped

Killer amp, I have one from the same year right now. I’m surprised you’re moving it, those have been your best sound clips IMO

My 1998 101B isn’t going anywhere. One of the best amps to write solos on with the boosted blue channel. I couldn’t sell mine. Too many dogs to sift through.

GLWS. Can you PM me what rare piece you’re looking for? I’m curious :)

I have a 1997 101B. Absolutely killer. Managed to survive a typical Fedex blunder of dropping the headshell hard enough to crack the bottom corner entirely through....

I think I was the guy that sold you the '96. You are in AB, Canada, right? If so, how are you digging it?

That was me brother, thanks again.

I’m really digging it, I can’t see it going anywhere. I’m more of a modern metal guy and with the right boost it rivals any metal amp I’ve ever played easily.

I prefer this over the uberschalls I’ve owned/played

Glad to hear it man!

Ya, it is absolutely the best Bogner I have owned and that includes the Helios, 20th Shiva, 20th Ecstasy and a Rev Green and Blue Uber. I have an Uber Ultra on order, so we will see how that stacks up, but ya, those 90's Ecstasy's are tough to beat!

Oooooofffff…..would….not….sell.

Serious question, how often do you guys that
Have done this, end up regretting it and the thing you bought didn’t beat out something you loved this much? I couldn’t do it personally. Thing sounds great.

Man that’s killer… your clips of this amp are just amazing. I’d think real hard before you do sell it!

Man....this is a good question. And being totally honest, I have absolutely had this happen to me.

A couple standouts would be: trading my first VHT pittbull ultra lead for a Triaxis setup. I LOVED that Pittbull and I was really stupid to let it go. I did end up buying another.

Another would be selling an early 90's SLO for a Diezel VH4. At the time, alot of guys touted the Diezel stuff as the be all, end all for amps and I drank the cool-aid. While I have come around to liking the Diezel stuff, I remember being kinda underwhelmed....and with a ton of regret for letting that SLO go.

Wish I could keep them all

I did the exact opposite thing. I had a Triaxis 290 rig and sold it right after getting my Ultra Lead. The VHT crushed it!
