I've been a purging, and hopefully this is the last one for a bit 
Mesa Mark III Blue Stripe that was refreshed and ++ modded by Mike B. earlier this year. Currently wearing a gorgeous new headshell from Scott Stofik. 100 watts. Comes with a reverb tank, but the tank is down to two springs and is not currently installed. Ask really nicely and I'll install it. Or just don't bother with the reverb (because honestly... who needs it?). Wired pentode with the JJ's Mike recommended.
It's a gain monster. I mean a real ripper. And at this point ready to tear faces off for many years to come. I bought a ton of Marks to try out (including this one, pre-repair and ++) and have settled on a IV that sounds like the first Mark I lusted after as a teenager and the IIB that I have been modding into oblivion (hopefully vintage IIBs don't start being worth a billion dollars and make me feel like an idiot). This III++ is interesting because it's both as tight as a modern mesa like the Mark VII but as raw as the IIs and IIIs. Really unique tone and vibe.
