I also heard he was playing the black ML when he got shot. From what I understand it was a black 79' MLF because his USA's weren't done yet. Think the only USA Dean he had at the time was the Flame. Could be wrong though...it's happened before. Badass pics though and it just makes me remember how much I miss his ass. RIP Dime!!!!!

Thanks for sharing that

killer  Dime was amazing

The originator of the "Modern Metal RIFF' His riffs changed everything!! Broke the Metallica "2 4 8 " thrash metal mold

Lead the way for all the modern /groove metal bands "ala" Korn, Disturbed, Mudvayne, Sevendust, etc.

Mucho respect DIME  RIP :worship:

That transparent Rebel flag Dean looks like a solid maple body

Just last week I FINALLY found all my Dime pics I fought for from TGSTK tour.

I haven't seen them in years.

my boy allovertonite is the one who took the pics. he was at the house for the last month or so. both a.o.t. and i grew up with darrell, and my house is about 4 blocks from pantego sound (where a.o.t. and i recorded many demos) and 7 blocks from the house in these photos.

we have been on the phone with each other consistantly during this whole past month (i've been on the road). he kept asking me what certain guitars were, and what he should be looking for to photograph. he has a bunch more pics, but cant load em up now that he is back on the road too.

let me confirm for you guys that the guitar he played last has been found, but you wont be seeing it on the internet. it is a black 79 series import mlf with a "saggy crotch" and white binding that josh in the dean custom shop put a real floyd into. there is another one just like it with a broken neck that has been re-attached, but it was backstage and was broken during the scuffle. i told my boy a.o.t. not to even send me pictures of the last guitar, as i did not want to be responsible for having them.

this post was just to clear up some things. and to add that the washburn culprit is by far the ugliest guitar ever built.

Whats the story on the Charvel was it beign restored?

I remember he won it in a guitar contest, did you by chance get the serial number?

I'll have to ask if he got the S#. Doubt it though
