for me...it took owning a cobra, 5150, mark III, valve jr, and a pod; so i could stop buying crap and worry about my playing

There it is..........just play your guitar and start producing music.

Of course, I've always wished the PODxt could do the amp mixing thing that the Vetta could; I never understood why Line6 didn't include that feature...

Because mixing two species of bees together just gives you more bees. ;)

Man in all honesty I've heard some killer tones from the Vetta......

Not those beehive tones from HC either, like shyhighrocks told me, if you take your time with it and learn to dial it in, they sound great.

the Vetta is literally, infinitely tweakable.

That is part of the appeal, Other than the Mark IV, I get bored with amps quickly, being that it is so tweakable, I think that it would be right up my alley, because if I get bored with a certain tone, I can change it, or add or subtract from it....

That said, that was something I liked about the Mark IV as well, if it wasnt "happening" change the eq or gain on it, and it was a whole new beast......I LOVE that amp.

Eventually I'll end up with both I think. I have to have another Mark IV, theres no question about that, but I think the Vetta would be good for me, for any other tones I want, or could want.

Unlike MOST people who expect it to sound like a Diezel, or Bogner, Engl, 5150, etc.... I dont look at it that way at all, it's just like any other amp, solid state or tube....it's a tone tool. If it gets me where I wanna be, cool.
