Nothing special if I recall. I didn’t mess with the tubes when I had it.Do you know what kind of JJs?
Mine had regular old JJ’s: JJ EL34s and JJ 12AX7’s.Do you know what kind of JJs?

You definitely know how to dial it. Your clips sound great.I can see people selling them because they can’t figure out the controls. I love mine and even I’ll admit that when everything is at noon, the amp can feel a bit harsh and stiff.
Lower the mids and treble and the amp smoothes out a lot without losing clarity or cut, but I can see that not occurring to people.
Yeah anyone who doesn’t pay attention to the history of the puzzling Uberschall controls, is not doing themselves any favors. It’s never been a cut n dry amp to dial in. For those that love to tweak and have patience, you’ll be rewarded with an insane pallet of different metal tones.I can see people selling them because they can’t figure out the controls. Exactly. Uberschalls have always required being dialed in with ears, not eyes.Yeah anyone who doesn’t pay attention to the history of the puzzling Uberschall controls, is not doing themselves any favors. I hear ya… I have aTwin Jet, and it sounds amazing. I think there may have been an issue with the 2 that I had. I know you’re a HUGE advocate of the Uber such as myself dude. You’re going to love it and won’t be disappointed. They got it right this time. I used to gripe about how sharp and bright ch 1 gets but I feel like it’s perfectly tailored for darker downtuned 7-8-9 string guitars. It sounds so clear and open. It’s starting to become my favorite channel.Exactly. Uberschalls have always required being dialed in with ears, not eyes.
